About the Role As part of the Business Services & Tax team, your responsibilities will include: Preparing financial statements and income tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals Managing business services and tax compliance for a portfolio of SME clients Preparing and reviewing BAS, GST and IAS Liaising directly with clients and responding to day-to-day accounting and taxation queries Working with cloud-based accounting systems including Xero and MYOB Assisting with workflow management and mentoring junior staff (Senior Accountant level) Supporting managers and partners to ensure quality and timely client outcomes About You We're interested in accountants who have: 2 years' Australian public practice accounting experience (Intermediate) or 5 years' experience (Senior) Experience preparing financial statements and income tax returns across a range of entity structures Strong knowledge of Australian taxation and business services compliance Excellent communication and client relationship skills Experience using Xero, MYOB and other cloud accounting platforms CA qualified, currently studying, or intending to commence (support provided where applicable) A proactive approach, strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality work Full unrestricted Australian working rights (this role is not suitable for student or working holiday visa holders) What's on Offer Competitive salary package based on experience Annual performance bonus CA support and ongoing professional development Clear career progression opportunities Exposure to a diverse portfolio of established SME clients Modern, technology-driven accounting environment Supportive and collaborative team culture Convenient Parramatta office location If you're looking to join a respected public practice firm where you can continue developing your career while working with quality clients in a supportive environment, we'd love to hear from you.
